This is one of those many instances in which someone said something and it was mistaken for something else. On a recent trip to the very crowded mall, we drove around the parking lost looking for a spot to leave the car. We got to a strange area where the spots looked different, so I checking with everyone in the car (Lindsay, Kara and Emily) saying, "These are spots, aren't they?"
However, because there were a lot of spots in that particular area, Kara thought I said, "These are spots aplenty!" It has been one of our favorite quotes every since.
